Educators understand and use data to drive their instruction and support students in achieving their learning goals.

Rubric - Used the website Rcampus to create the Showreel rubric for my multimedia class. Showreels are the most important part of the class because they can literally get a student a job. Having concrete data that shows the student exactly what a teacher/professor is looking for can guide and manage expectations. It provides a baseline and transparency. Because you did/did not do this, you received this score. It provides a quantitative element.

Polling - Used the website Mentimeter to create polling data for one of the first lessons of the semester. This can be used during the presentation to get live feedback on what is and is not resonating with students. This can give someone who has trouble expressing themselves vocally in class another option to get help.

Responses to Polling Data - I created this chart using Adobe Express. This data can be used to figure out which parts of the camera I need to spend more time discussing. For example, if more students cannot remember where the White Balance is located, this reflection point can tell me I need to spend more time on this topic this semester and next. In turn, can lead to better learning outcomes.
