Infographic
I created the infographic in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I really enjoyed this assignment because graphic design is in my toolbag of things I love. I was going for a clean look. I used hierarchy with a main title in a bold font. I used a medium font as my text using italics and bold to highlight certain words. I used logos and images created in Photoshop to provide context to the text on-screen. I used the main color scheme of gold, gray, and white and created little dots to add interest. I used arrows and lines to show the viewer where to look.
Softchalk is a management tool and works with other Learning Management Systems like Canvas and Blackboard. I chose this software because I wanted to know more about it. I have never been a sit-still, listen-and-learn kind of person. I am a visual learner. I understand more by doing. That is what I like about Softchalk. It integrates programs and learning activities that adds a gamification quality that allows students fun and learning. Through media and learning games this is a way to engage learners and keep attention.
